Cole Camp Senior Center
Open from 8-1
Open for Lunch at 11:30
WHAT WE DO
* The Senior Center offers nutritional, health and wellness programs, care management, and family care giver support programs. We serve hot, well-balanced meals Monday thru Friday at 11:30am. Over 6,000 meals are served annually at the center and over 2,900 meals are delivered to the homebound elderly. “I come here to enjoy the food, and the fellowship” says Judy Silva. “It gives me a place to go and enjoy the people, and the activities.”
* The Senior Center is a place to gather and build relationships. We support and care for one another. Our beloved Judy Harris once said “I can say it was exactly what I needed to get me out of my shell and begin facing life again. I am so grateful it is available for those of us who need to become a part of life again…”
* We come together to visit, volunteer, and participate in activities such as bingo, and playing cards. “I moved to Cole Camp and immediately went to the senior center. I was welcomed and treated like family. I was also given the opportunity to volunteer which I have enjoyed greatly” says Phyllis Urban.
* The center also provides transportation and other services including assistance with filing tax returns, insurance papers, Medicare, and in-home services. If we can’t fulfill a special need, we try to find someone who can.
